Does my PDF get uploaded anywhere?
No. Every page is rendered to an image with JavaScript running in your browser tab. Your PDF never touches a server — you could disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it would still work.
Should I pick PNG or JPG?
PNG is lossless, so text and line art stay crisp — good for documents and scans. JPG compresses more aggressively, which makes smaller files but softens fine detail — good for photo-heavy pages.
What resolution are the images?
Each page is rendered at 2x its normal size for a sharp result on high-density screens and printing. Very large or heavily illustrated PDFs will produce correspondingly large images.
Is there a page count or file size limit?
No limit we impose — you're only bound by your device's memory. Very large or complex PDFs (hundreds of pages, dense vector art) may take longer to render, and a badly corrupted file will fail with a clear message instead of hanging.
Will this work on my phone?
Yes. It's just JavaScript in the page, so it runs the same way on a phone, tablet, or desktop, in any modern browser.
